Making a new plant file

To make a new plant file,
gif/plantstudio00090000.gif
Choose New from the File menu on the main window.
gif/plantstudio00090000.gif If PlantStudio asks if you want to save changes, click Yes if you want to save the open file, click No to close the open file without saving changes, or click Cancel to go back to editing the open file (if so, the rest of this doesn't apply). Any plants in the drawing area will disappear, and the file name shown in the title bar will change to "untitled".
gif/plantstudio00090000.gif Now create a new plant using the wizard or default plant, or paste a plant from the clipboard.
gif/plantstudio00090000.gif The first time you save the new file, the program will ask you to provide a name for it.
