Breeding from one parent

To breed from one parent in the main window,
gif/plantstudio00090000.gif
Select the plant.
gif/plantstudio00090000.gif Choose Breed from the main window Plant menu. The plant you selected will appear in the breeder in a generation by itself, and the new generation will follow it. The new generations will follow any existing generations in the breeder.

To breed from one parent in the breeder,
gif/plantstudio00090000.gif
Select the plant.
gif/plantstudio00090000.gif Choose Breed from the breeder Breed menu, or double-click on the plant. All breeder generations below the plant will clear out, and the new generation will appear under the plant.

To breed from one parent in the time series window,
gif/plantstudio00090000.gif
Select a plant in the time series window. It doesn't matter which time series plant you select, because they are all the same plant at different stages in its life cycle.
gif/plantstudio00090000.gif Choose Breed from the time series Edit menu. The time series plant will appear in the breeder in a generation by itself, and the new generation will follow it. The new generations will follow any existing generations in the breeder.
